Overview
The employee accommodation facilities at the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby underwent a £16.4 million redevelopment to raise the standards of living quarters for key workers, helping to retain highly skilled staff. The new 220-bed residential scheme will feature 124 apartments for junior doctors and 96 individual en-suite bedrooms with shared communal spaces for student nurses.
The Solution
Laidlaw supplied a full suite of over 4,500 architectural ironmongery products for the project including door closers, door furniture, hinges and signage. Orbis 500 and 600 ranges were used throughout the development, all finished in satin stainless steel.
Also included were products to aid accessibility within the apartments, including bathroom locks, signage and pull handles. With our team’s knowledge of the Equality Act, and a wide range of products, Laidlaw is able to provide advice to ensure your project is accessible for all.
